My snow angel in the back yard of my house on Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota

She bought a beautiful new house to live with her adorable little son.
He was smart, and funny and sweet.
Her mom said that she was ruining her address book because she moved too often.
Whatever the daughter said the mother disagreed and vice versa.
The Beat Goes On.
The son’s father was angry and said she was alienating him from wanting to see his dad.
He filed a law suit. Depositions were taken on both sides.
It took a difficult turn when her mother said she was influencing her son against his dad.
Why would any mother do this?
Then a curve ball…the father’s dad said she was a wonderful mom and wanted the son and dad to spend time together. Case dismissed.
The Beat Goes On.
It was Christmas and in her new house she still had no couch or chairs and thought it best to have Christmas at her brother’s house or parents.
Her mom said they wouldn’t celebrate. No Christmas, at all?
On Christmas Eve she took her son sledding and back at the house sipping hot chocolate they called the grandparents to wish them Merry Christmas. Her mom answered and she could hear a whole family party going on. Her sister-in-law got on the phone and said that her mom had planned Christmas without her on purpose.
The Beat Goes On yet with a little different song.
She thought, I’m too sensitive. This doesn’t really matter. Yet it really does.
It was Mother’s Day and time for a celebration. Her mother said she couldn’t come for dinner or lunch and wanted no present. No Mother’s Day, at all?
The Beat Goes On.
Soon it was summer and time for a family visit to the cabin.
She was told all the summer weekends were already filled.
There was no room at the inn, all summer. No summer cabin, at all? She thought it may be ALL my fault yet I’m getting tired of it.
Maybe she doesn’t care as much anymore. Maybe she wants a break. The Beat Goes On.
